Responsabilidades

  • Coordinate daily operations of the Housekeeping department.
  • Act as a liaison between Housekeeping and other departments.
  • Handle calls for the Housekeeping department and log requests.
  • Process requests and delegate work assignments promptly.
  • Convey operational issues to the leadership team.
  • Lead coordination of all Housekeeping employees and activities.
  • Stay informed about all housekeeping services and Club facilities.
  • Maintain up-to-date inventory of Housekeeping supplies.
  • Generate operational reports for the Housekeeping department.
  • Assist other housekeeping employees in maintaining cleanliness.
  • Review opportunities for improved productivity.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Overview

Costaterra, located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: Costaterra, set outside of Comporta. Costaterra Golf & Ocean Club is part of DLC – Discovery Land Company (DLC). Costaterra is a private members-only residential community in Comporta – Portugal, offering luxury living with top-tier hospitality, including dining, a world-class golf course, spa services, outdoor pursuits, and immersive local experiences. The role is for a Housekeeping Coordinator in the Residential Services Department.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the daily operations of the Housekeeping department to provide the highest level of service through effective communication and follow-up.
  • Act as a liaison between Housekeeping and other departments (Member Services, Experience, Maintenance, Security, Food and Beverage) to maintain a high standard of presentation and cleanliness throughout the Club.
  • Handle all calls for the Housekeeping department, ensuring messages, information, and requests are logged and communicated promptly to provide excellent service for Members.
  • Process requests, delegate work assignments promptly, and follow up to ensure proper completion.
  • Convey operational issues to the leadership team and address day-to-day issues proactively.
  • Lead the coordination of all Housekeeping employees and activities, including opening/closing the office, daily assignments, inspection of public areas, evening service assignments, and special tasks.
  • Stay informed about all housekeeping services, Club facilities, and operating hours for all outlets and areas of the Club.
  • Maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date inventory of Housekeeping supplies and coordinate with management to order as needed.
  • Generate operational reports to help coordinate the activities of the Housekeeping department.
  • Assist other housekeeping employees in maintaining clean and organized work and public areas.
  • Review opportunities for improved productivity and greater efficiency; ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.
  • Establish and communicate clearly defined goals and objectives for department employees.
  • Ensure safety requirements are followed and create a clean and safe working environment; adhere to environmental policies and programs as required.
  • Perform other duties as requested, including cleaning spills and fulfilling special guest requests.
