SME Careers is seeking an Accounting SME for a remote, hourly contractor role to review AI-generated accounting responses and create expert content. You will assess accuracy, clarity, and adherence to GAAP/IFRS, and provide precise written feedback across journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement considerations.

The role requires 5+ years of accounting experience, a strong foundation in journal entries and month-end close, and proficiency in technical accounting writing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional accounting experience.
• CPA/ACCA/CMA or local equivalent is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI training content: create detailed prompts and gold-standard accounting outputs and reconciliations logic.
• Evaluate and rank AI responses to improve correctness and adherence to GAAP/IFRS.
