Job summary

Exogenus Therapeutics is seeking an experienced Project and Research Funding Manager to coordinate international research projects, ensure deliverables, and manage grants within the Innovation Department. A scientific MSc/PhD in life sciences and Horizon Europe experience are required.

The role emphasizes data management, compliance with funding rules, and reporting, with potential for hybrid work and growth opportunities within a collaborative EV-focused company.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management with Horizon Europe.
• Ability to identify and write grant applications.
• High proficiency in English; Portuguese knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ongoing research projects, including a multi-partner international consortium, tracking work packages and ensuring deliverables are submitted on time.
• Monitor administrative, scientific and financial obligations.
• Ensure compliance with Horizon Europe rules and regulations.
• Lead the development and continuous update of Data Management Plans.
• Organise meetings (progress meetings or Steering Committees).
• Ensure research outputs follow FAIR principles.
• Monitor partner spending and assist in preparing periodic financial reports.
• Manage project websites and social media, posting updates as needed.
• Identify and prepare new grant applications.
