Job summary

Diaverum in Torres Vedras invites qualified nurses to join a patient-centered renal care team. You will deliver nursing care across clinic settings, adhere to evidence-based quality standards, document interventions, and support patient autonomy and family involvement.

Applicants should hold a Nursing degree with a valid license, be proficient in Portuguese and English, and contribute to continuous improvement and collaborative care.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing and a valid professional licence.
• With or without experience in dialysis techniques.
• Proficiency in Portuguese and English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care across the different clinical settings of the clinic
• Intervene based on the best scientific evidence, ensuring the implementation of quality standards
• Document nursing interventions in a timely manner
• Promote patient autonomy, empowerment of the patient and their family, and adherence to treatment
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families
• Participate in and promote initiatives aimed at coordinating different levels of healthcare
• Actively participate in continuous improvement processes within the scope of professional practice
• Record incidents
• Promote and participate in national and international research programmes and projects
• Support the training and development of other professionals’ competencies
• Participate in the management and organisation of the nursing team’s work
• Resolve clinical and organisational issues
