Ethena is seeking a Head of Product to lead the product organisation end to end, mentoring two Product Managers and owning a flagship consumer offering in stealth development. You will partner with the CEO and CTO, define the vision, metrics, and roadmap, and build a lean product operating system for a fast-moving fintech environment.

This high-ownership role spans both people leadership and IC product ownership, with budget responsibility and regulatory navigation across jurisdictions.

Qualificações

• Experience leading products with high user counts (e.g., 100K+ MAU) and strong ownership
• Mentoring or leading other PMs in lean or high-growth settings
• Hands-on in defining product vision, metrics and roadmaps for fintech products
• Ability to ship consumer money products and navigate regulatory contexts

The Role

Ethena is building the financial infrastructure for the next generation of digital dollars, powered by USDe. As Head of Product, you'll lead Ethena's product organisation end to end — managing and mentoring a small team of Product Managers who each own products across our wider suite, while also taking direct, hands‑on ownership of the company's single most strategically important product: a landmark new consumer offering, currently in stealth development, that will be central to Ethena's next phase of growth. Full detail on this flagship product will be shared with shortlisted candidates as part of the interview process.

This is a high ownership role that spans both people leadership and individual-contributor product ownership. On the flagship product, you'll be defining the vision, setting the metrics, and making the calls on a fast-moving initiative you'll help take from near-zero to launch. Across the wider suite, you'll set the standard for product process, coach and develop two Product Managers, and bring consistent rigor and prioritisation discipline to the product organisation as a whole.

You will operate with a very lean team and limited resources across product and dev, standing up much of the function's process from scratch. You'll partner closely with the CEO and CTO, and report directly to senior leadership.

What You'll Do

• Lead and mentor a team of two Product Managers running products across Ethena's wider suite, setting the standard for process, prioritisation, and quality across the group.

• Take direct, hands‑on ownership of the company's flagship new consumer product (full details shared during the interview process) as its single accountable owner — defining vision, roadmap, and success metrics.

• Stand up a real but lightweight product operating system from near-zero: discovery, prioritisation, roadmap, spec/PRD standards, decision-logs, and operating rhythm, appropriate for a lean team.

• Establish scalable processes for support, risk, and compliance, working with legal to navigate relevant regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.

• Own the product budget and manage outsourced dev and agency relationships for cost‑efficiency and quality.

• Scale the product team and operating culture as the business grows, beyond the initial team of two.

What We're Looking For

• A history of managing products with over 100K monthly active users.

• Experienced mentoring, or leading other Product Managers, ideally in a lean or high‑growth environment.

• Have personally led and shipped payments or banking products, and know consumer money products from the inside.

• Deeply opinionated and evidence‑based about how to measure a consumer fintech product and how retail users actually behave.

• Comfortable operating as a credible peer to founders — able to take over product ownership from a technical founder and earn trust fast, communicating crisply in writing as well as verbally.

• Hands‑on by nature — happy in the detail (writing specs, reviewing flows, digging into data) with minimal resources on both product and dev, rather than only directing.

• Strong UX judgment and design sensibility for customer‑facing platforms with high complexity.

• A bias toward action, and comfort delivering sophisticated products under ambiguous conditions in a fast‑moving, resource‑constrained environment.
