The Bosch Group is seeking an Engineering Manager for eBike Embedded Software Development. You will lead a multidisciplinary team delivering software for Drive Units, Battery Packs, Head Units and related platforms.

You will shape long‑term strategy, grow technical competence, and ensure resource allocation aligns with project goals. Collaborate with product owners and global teams to enable innovation and high‑quality engineering.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in software development, preferably in embedded systems.
• Proven leadership experience inside engineering teams.
• Experience with embedded software development lifecycle, agile methodologies and modern engineering practices.
• Experience with resource planning, organizational development and competence management.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders such as Product/Project Management and Technical Leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach and develop a department of embedded software engineers and professionals.
• Define and execute the organizational strategy for sustainable growth of the eBike software organization.
• Drive competence development initiatives for current and future projects.
• Support career growth and mentoring of associates.
• Own workforce and capacity planning and ensure efficient resource allocation.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Project Managers and Technical Leads to allocate best engineering competencies.
• Support business growth by enabling new projects and ramp-ups.
• Facilitate conflict resolution and promote collaboration across teams and locations.
• Enable high‑performance delivery by improving engineering processes, tools and methods.
• Contribute to strategic planning and ensure KPIs and roadmaps are executed.
• Drive hiring activities to build a strong talent pipeline.
