Work corp is seeking a Head Chef for our upscale Faro restaurant, specializing in Mediterranean cuisine. You will lead a skilled kitchen team, design menus, develop new recipes, and manage cost and inventory to uphold top dining standards.

You will ensure quality, train staff, and collaborate with front-of-house to deliver an exceptional guest experience. A strong background in fine dining and a food safety certification are preferred.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a chef in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting.
• Extensive knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine with ability to create innovative dishes while maintaining authenticity.
• Experience in menu development, recipe creation, cost control, and inventory management.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and guide a team towards success.
• High attention to detail with excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Food safety certification is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and design new menu items that showcase the flavors and ingredients of Mediterranean cuisine.
• Create recipes with focus on fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients.
• Oversee all aspects of food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation.
• Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, menu items, and safety procedures.
• Manage inventory levels, ordering, and cost control to ensure profitability.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are met in the kitchen at all times.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to provide an exceptional dining experience for guests.
