Job summary

Shakers is seeking an Appian Technical Lead to drive the design and delivery of enterprise-grade Appian applications and process automation. You will own the technical architecture, ensuring scalability, security and integration while staying close to the code.

This hands-on leadership role requires 6+ years in Appian, strong knowledge of SAIL, web APIs and databases, and excellent communication with client stakeholders. The position is full-time and hybrid (1 day per week on site), long-term.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional Appian experience with hands-on development.
• Experience as Appian Technical Lead, Lead Developer, Solution Architect or similar.
• Deep knowledge of SAIL interfaces, process models, records and data models, expression rules, integrations and Web APIs, security and configuration.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, SQL/databases, authentication and enterprise architectures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Availability for a technical validation interview.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and architecture of Appian solutions, ensuring scalability, performance and security.
• Define application architecture, integration approaches, data models, reusable components and development standards.
• Guide Appian developers through design reviews, code reviews and troubleshooting.
• Stay hands-on on complex components and critical technical issues.
• Design and oversee integrations with enterprise systems, databases, APIs and external services.
• Support estimations, solution planning and delivery, flagging risks and dependencies early.
• Act as the senior technical point of contact for Appian topics with client stakeholders.
