Sodexo Business Services in Portugal invites you to join our FP&A team in Porto. As a Financial Planning & Analysis Business Analyst, you will support forecasting, planning and reporting across the Continental Region, interacting with Country CFOs and peers.

The ideal candidate holds a finance-related degree and 2–4 years FP&A/controlling experience, with strong Excel and English, and familiarity with SAP or Essbase is a plus.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in Controlling / FP&A, ideally in a multinational environment.
• Solid knowledge of P&L and Balance Sheet, and experience in variance analysis (Budget vs Actual, GP, Price/Volume)
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Strong Excel skills; knowledge of SAP and Essbase is a plus
• Team player, able to collaborate with peers and stakeholders and willing to learn from others
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to provide clear first-line commentary
• Organized, with strong prioritization skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
• Continuous learning mindset, positive attitude and motivation to work in a multicultural environment
• Process improvement and automation mindset, with humility to challenge the status quo

Responsabilidades

• Forecasting, planning and reporting across Continental Region
• Prepare P&L/Balance Sheet analyses and a comprehensive set of multi-dimensional analytical analyses in the group reporting system
• Coordinate with Country CFOs, FP&A peers and Region CFO
• Assist FP&A peers in ad hoc reporting & performance analytics (GP analysis, Price/Volume, Budget vs Actual)
• Assist FP&A peers with monthly performance decks and first-line commentary for framing by the Business Unit
• Coordinate with FP&A peers to ensure efficient month-end closing reporting through automation and standardization
• Ad hoc/continuous improvement projects including documentation review and update

FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) – Business Analyst

What will you do?

• Supporting forecasting, planning and reporting process across Continental Region
• Key hands to ensure P&L/Balance sheet and a comprehensive set of multi-dimensional analytical analysis are collected on time and correctly in the group reporting system
• Support of different stakeholders including but not limited to Countries CFOs, FP&As peers Business Unit Finance Directors, and Region CFO
• Assist FP&As peers in the preparation of ad hoc reporting & performance analytics - GP analysis, Price volume, Budget vs Actual reports
• Assist FP&As peers with the preparation of the monthly performance decks and adding first line commentary to enable framing by the Business Unit
• Coordinate with FP&As peers to Ensure delivery of efficient month-end closing reporting through automation and standardization
• Ad hoc/continuous improvement projects including documentation review and update

What you'll need to succeed?

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
