Leading International Technical Engineering And Construction Partner in Sines, Portugal is seeking a Graduate Engineer to start a career on major international projects. The role focuses on design coordination, site coordination and early exposure to project management on a flagship data-centre/industrial development.

You will work alongside experienced engineers and project managers, gaining hands-on experience across the full lifecycle from design through commissioning and handover.

Qualifications

• Recent engineering graduate with a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services or Civil Engineering.
• Willingness to be site-based and learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in mission-critical projects (data centres / industrial / pharma).

Responsabilités

• Support senior engineers and project managers with day-to-day project coordination.
• Assist with technical submittals, RFIs, and design documentation.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.

This is an opportunity to join a flagship project in Sines, working alongside experienced engineers and project managers on a large-scale, high-tech development.This role offers a clear pathway into Project Engineering and Project Management, giving you hands-on exposure across the full project lifecycle from design coordination through to commissioning and handover. Your Role As a Junior Engineer Will Include:

• Supporting senior engineers and project managers with day-to-day project coordination
• Assisting with technical submittals, RFIs, and design documentation
• Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams
• Supporting quality control, programme tracking, and reporting
• Attending site meetings and contributing to project delivery on site (5 days a week)
• Gaining exposure to MEP systems, commissioning, and handover processes

As a Junior Engineer, You Will Have:

• A degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services or Civil Engineering
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Interest in mission-critical projects (data centres / industrial / pharma)
• Willingness to be site-based and learn in a fast-paced environment
• Experience within engineering or construction
