CELUS seeks a Graduate / Junior Electronics Engineer (F/M/D) in Porto to develop electronics and design PCBs using EDA tools. You will analyze architectures, create schematics, and contribute to documentation while collaborating with team members.

Applicants should hold an Electronics Engineering degree; no prior experience is required though PCB experience is welcome. Proficiency in English is essential, with a hybrid working setup and opportunities to learn.

Qualificações

• Electronics Engineering degree or equivalent.
• No previous working experience required, but electronics/PCB experience is a plus.
• Interest in electronics design, component selection, schematic capture and PCB layouts.
• Experience with EDA CAD tools (EAGLE, Altium, KiCad, Proteus, Cadence, EasyEDA) is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work independently.

We’re looking for a Graduate / Junior Electronics Engineer (F/M/D) who is passionate about electronics development and PCB design to join our team in Porto. The role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future of smarter electronics design through the use of CUBO™, an all-inclusive digital datasheet that revolutionizes electronics development.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Analyze complete electronic architectures and break down complex circuits into smaller, independent functional stages (e.g., power management, signal conditioning, communication modules).
• Create and maintain schematic designs of functional blocks using EDA tools (EAGLE, Fusion and/or KiCad). Manage and update libraries of schematic symbols and component footprints.
• Collaborate with peers to ensure design consistency and functional integrity across projects.
• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation to support the understanding and reuse of schematic designs.
• Use basic coding (C or Python) to write firmware to test PCBs components and scripts to improve the team’s design process.

YOUR PROFILE

• Electronics Engineering Degree or equivalent.
• No previous working experience is required however candidates who have experience in the field of Electronics \ Electronics Engineering \ PCB design may also be considered.
• Interest in the development of electronics design, component selection, schematic capture and PCB layouts
• Experience with one or more EDA CAD tools (EAGLE, Altium, KiCad, Proteus, Cadence, EasyEDA) for electronics design is highly advantageous
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and solution driven way of thinking
• Fluent English is required for the role
