CTS Group is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join the Lisbon/Porto team. You will work with senior engineers, progressing to higher responsibility in electrical design, calculations and drawings.

Tools include AutoCAD, Revit, Febdok, ETAP or EPLAN, and you’ll ensure compliance with IEC and NFPA standards while collaborating across disciplines. The role emphasizes learning, attention to detail, and multidisciplinary teamwork within a growing Data Center-focused company.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering.
• 1–3, 4–7 or 8+ years in electrical design or related engineering.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting and control systems.
• Ability to prepare schematics, layouts and calculations.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Revit and other design tools (Febdok, ETAP, EPLAN).
• Familiarity with IEC and NFPA standards and project documentation.

We’re looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Lisbon/Porto.

What will you be doing?

You’ll work closely with senior engineers, progressively taking on more responsibility across the electrical design process.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Supporting the design and specification of electrical systems and components
• Developing electrical calculations, schematics and detailed drawings
• Working with tools such as AutoCAD and Revit, as well as other electrical design software
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to integrate electrical systems with other project disciplines
• Applying relevant electrical standards and regulations, including IEC and NFPA
• Preparing, updating and maintaining technical project documentation
• Supporting other engineers in solving technical challenges and developing effective design solutions

You’ll have the support and guidance of senior engineers while progressively developing the technical autonomy needed to take the next step in your career.

What are we looking for?

Your technical background:

Bachelor’s/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

Experience (multiple levels) in electrical design or related engineering functions:

• Junior Level: 1-3 years of Experience,
• Intermediate Level: 4-7 years of Experience
• Senior Level: 8+ years of Experience.

Understanding of electrical design principles, particularly power distribution, lighting and control systems

Ability to prepare basic electrical schematics, layouts and calculations

Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit or other relevant tools such as Febdok, ETAP or EPLAN

Awareness of electrical safety, quality and regulatory requirements

Knowledge of standards such as IEC and NFPA

Experience with project documentation, design coordination or multidisciplinary projects is valued

Base salary according to seniority. Our package includes food allowance and health insurance.
