Personio is seeking a Graduate / Junior Electronics Engineer in Porto to contribute to electronics development and PCB design using CUBO, an all-inclusive digital datasheet. You will analyze architectures, create schematics, and write basic firmware in C or Python to test PCBs.

No prior experience is required, but Electronics/PCB design exposure is welcomed. Fluency in English and strong collaboration skills are essential for success in our hybrid, international startup environment.

Qualificações

• Electronics Engineering Degree or equivalent.
• No prior working experience required, though those with Electronics/Electronics Engineering/PCB design experience may be considered.
• Interest in electronics design, component selection, schematic capture and PCB layouts.
• Experience with one or more EDA CAD tools (EAGLE, Altium, KiCad, Proteus, Cadence, EasyEDA) for electronics design is highly advantageous.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and a solution-driven mindset.
• Fluent English is required for the role.

The role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future of smarter electronics design through the use of CUBO, an all-inclusive digital datasheet that revolutionizes electronics development.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Analyze complete electronic architectures and break down complex circuits into smaller, independent functional stages (e.g., power management, signal conditioning, communication modules).
• Create and maintain schematic designs of functional blocks using EDA tools (EAGLE, Fusion and/or KiCad). Manage and update libraries of schematic symbols and component footprints.
• Collaborate with peers to ensure design consistency and functional integrity across projects.
• Contribute to the creation of technical documentation to support the understanding and reuse of schematic designs.
• Use basic coding (C or Python) to write firmware to test PCBs components and scripts to improve the team’s design process.

Your profile

• Electronics Engineering Degree or equivalent.
