Job summary

simplesurance GmbH is seeking a Golang Software Engineer - Identity & Access Management to build scalable IAM services. You’ll own Go backend components, implement authentication and authorization flows, and integrate providers like Cognito and Keycloak. Team interactions span product, QA, architecture, and partner teams.

You’ll contribute to design, documentation, and operational excellence, while embracing a culture of innovation and learning across Lisbon and Berlin offices.

Qualifications

• Backend development in Go with production distributed systems experience.
• Strong IAM knowledge: OAuth2, OIDC, SSO, MFA, JWT.
• Experience with cloud, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate scalable Go backend services for IAM.
• Enhance IAM capabilities: authentication, authorization, SSO, MFA, federation.
• Integrate identity providers (Cognito, Keycloak) and manage configs.
• Contribute to CI/CD, monitoring, and reliability of services.
• Collaborate with product, QA, architecture, and external stakeholders.
