Job summary

Keenfinity Group is seeking a Senior Strategic Buyer for Electronics to drive global sourcing strategies for electronic components and assemblies. You will lead cost-optimization initiatives, manage supplier relationships, and align with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality and Manufacturing to secure a resilient supply chain.

The role requires 3–5 years in strategic procurement within electronics, EMS experience, and strong negotiation and market insight capabilities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of strategic procurement experience in electronics.
• Experience in an EMS company with measurable achievements.
• Strong procurement processes, cost-optimization methods, and supplier management knowledge.
• Deep electronics market knowledge and supplier landscape insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic procurement of electronic components and assemblies for series production and new product initiatives, identifying cost-optimization opportunities.
• Manage global supplier relationships including supplier development, qualification and onboarding of new suppliers.
• Develop sourcing strategies for electronics, conduct supply agreements and lead negotiations internationally.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality and Manufacturing to optimize components and assemblies.
• Ensure resilient, cost-efficient and sustainable supply chain performance and risk mitigation.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and supplier performance.

Job Description

As a Senior Strategic Buyer for Electronics, you will drive the global sourcing strategy for electronic components and assemblies across both series product portfolio and new projects. You will play a key role in cost optimization initiatives, supplier management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure a resilient and competitive supply chain.

Your Contribution To Something Big

• Lead the strategic procurement of electronic components and assemblies for series production and new product initiatives, including identifying and executing cost-optimization opportunities.
• Ensure the achievement of commercial and performance targets for your assigned commodity portfolio.
• Manage global supplier relationships, including supplier development, qualification, and onboarding of new suppliers.
• Develop material-field specific sourcing strategies, conduct supply agreements and lead negotiations on an international scale.
• Act as a key interface with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing to continuously optimize and strategically advance your components and assemblies.
• Secure sustainable global supply chain stability and mitigate actively risks for your commodity portfolio.

Education

• Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field.

Experience & Expertise

• 3–5 years of professional experience in strategic procurement within the electronics sector (B2B environment).
• Several years of experience within an EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) company, with a proven track record of measurable achievements.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes, cost-optimization methods, and supplier management best practices.
• Deep expertise in the electronics market, including market dynamics, supplier landscapes, and technology and industry trends that influence sourcing and material strategies.

Personal Qualities

• Exceptional negotiation skills, strong cost awareness, entrepreneurial thinking, team orientation, intercultural competence, and excellent communication skills.
• High level of initiative and the ability to drive topics independently.

Languages

• Fluent in English and Chinese, both spoken and written.
