The Keenfinity Group, a leading provider of professional communication and security solutions, is seeking a Project Buyer to join its Ovar-area team. You will drive supplier selection, manage RFQs, and ensure material availability through SOP while supporting cost-conscious quotations and change management for end-of-life projects.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant engineering or business degree and have 3–5 years of international project buying experience, with fluent English and Portuguese, and

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or business management.
• 3–5 years as project buyer is mandatory (sales/commerce experiencia a plus).
• Experience in an international business environment is mandatory.
• Proven problem solving and decision making track record.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure project targets are met: quality, cost and availability.
• Support commercial quotations (material costing) to meet sales strategy.
• Select components/suppliers aligned with supplier strategies.
• Handle RFQ requests and negotiations with suppliers.
• Define quality requirements and ensure standards compliance.
• Take responsibility for material availability until SOP.
• Manage Change until End-of-Life of the product.
• Mitigate risks and escalate issues to hit targets.

Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

• Ensuring project targets are met (Quality, Cost and availability);
• Support in commercial quotations (Material Costing) to reach the sales strategy and goals
• Ensure supplier selection for components and/or products is in alignment with supplier strategies;
• Handle requests for quotations (RFQ) and negotiations with suppliers;
• Defining quality requirements and ensure compliance with technical standards;
• Take responsibility for material availability until the Start of Production (SOP);
• Change Management until End-of-Life of the Product
• Risk mitigation & escalation management to ensure project targets.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

• Bachelor's degree / Master's degree in engineering (Electronic or Mechanical) or business management;
• Experience as project buyer between 3-5 years, mandatory (experience on sales/commercial role will be a plus)
• Experience in an international business environment is mandatory
• Proven track record in problem solving and decision making;
• Proven track record leading complex projects projects;
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills;
• Able to work 2 times a week in the office in Ovar
• Fluent in English and Portuguese (verbal and written);
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Purchasing Tools (Ivalua or Ariba is a plus)
• Good knowledge of ERP-SAP.
