Overview

Global Services Portfolio Consultant. SUSE is a global leader in innovative, reliable, and secure enterprise open source solutions. This role is a strategic creator and advocate for a compelling and modern portfolio of services offerings, designed to accelerate time-to-value and deliver tangible outcomes for clients. You will empower customers with flexible access to the right services and experts at the right time, with customer experience at the center of everything we do.

Responsibilities

• Design, create, and maintain services offerings: lead the technical design and development of services portfolio offerings and act as a subject matter expert when engaging with product managers and technical services teams.
• Lead the lifecycle of the services portfolio: manage end-to-end services including premium support, consulting, and training services; draft predefined offerings and validate their feasibility with the consulting team; ensure offerings are scalable and repeatable.
• Enable the services portfolio strategy: support the vision and roadmap for the offering portfolio, align it with the customer journey, and track services from idea to retirement; perform market demand analysis, provide competitive analysis, and manage cross-functional development teams.
• Enable sales and delivery: collaborate with enablement and marketing to prepare field sales teams to sell services; work with services management and delivery teams to create delivery artifacts for consistent project execution.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration: work with product units, services technical teams, and delivery teams to define the reference architecture, technical solution, and processes to bring solutions to market; gather input from clients and stakeholders to define roadmaps.
• Provide technical enablement to the technical services team and subcontractors: design and maintain a methodology for enabling the technical services team and subcontractors on new offerings.

Skills Required

• Deep Technical Knowledge: hands-on experience with open source technologies such as Linux, cloud-native technologies, and Kubernetes; able to design and validate service offerings and enable technical teams.
• Portfolio Management & Strategy: ability to create, maintain, and execute a services portfolio roadmap aligning market demands with business objectives.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: ability to align and manage stakeholders across sales, finance, engineering, and marketing to launch and manage offerings; capacity to work autonomously within your domain.
• Delivery and Enablement Experience: track record of delivering complex work, managing lifecycles, and creating artifacts for consistent delivery; experience facilitating enablement and workshops.
• Communication Skills: strong communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building; fluent in English for all aspects of the role.
