Job summary

Grohe Portugal Componentes Sanitarios Lda. in Aveiro, Portugal, is seeking a hands-on Procurement Assistant to support the Project Procurement team. You’ll work with strategic buyers, suppliers and internal stakeholders to keep projects moving, focusing on tenders, negotiations and master data in SAP.

The role requires 1–2 years in procurement, a Bachelor’s degree, and fluency in English and Portuguese, with familiarity in SAP/Ariba. Hybrid work model and international collaboration are offered.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, technical buying or MRP/material planning.
• Bachelor’s degree at minimum.
• Experience with SAP; knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and Ariba is a strong advantage.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with a confident, professional approach.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work with data, systems and processes.
• Hands-on, independent working style and ownership mindset.
• Collaborative and able to coordinate with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
• Fluent Business English and Portuguese, with good knowledge of Google products.

Responsibilities

• Support Strategic Buyers with supplier, bundling and market strategies.
• Manage and evaluate tenders and RFQs.
• Support price and commercial negotiations.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams.
• Assist supply chain improvements across cost, quality, liquidity and logistics.
• Determine stock levels and requirements.
• Create and track framework agreements and purchase orders.
• Support savings initiatives including phase‑in and phase‑out activities.
• Coordinate change requests, special releases and scrapping activities.
• Maintain purchasing and master data in SAP and assist invoice verification.
• Manage orders, tooling and database information.
• Ensure project buyers have information and system support.
