Salaterra is a fast-scaling, international furniture and home décor brand seeking a hands-on Purchasing & Logistics professional for a freelancer role. You will own end-to-end international purchasing and logistics, coordinate import/export, work with Asia suppliers, and help build scalable processes in a startup-like environment.

Location-flexible across Europe, ME & Asia; you set your own hours and report to the COO. English fluency is required, Spanish is a plus.

Qualificações

• Fluent English (C1 or higher).
• Spanish is a plus.
• Strong experience in international purchasing & logistics in Home & Living / Furniture & Home Decor / Consumer Goods (physical products), including large or heavy item shipping.
• Hands-on purchasing experience with physical consumer goods — background limited to industrial or energy logistics won't fit.
• E-commerce or DTC brand experience required.
• Performance-based annual bonus up to 15%.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and optimize international purchasing and logistics (import/export).
• Follow up purchase orders from suppliers to final customer delivery.
• Work with international suppliers, with direct experience in Asia (China preferred).
• Improve costs, lead times and logistics efficiency.
• Coordinate shipments and warehouse inbound operations.
• Handle logistics incidents and implement preventive processes.
• Build and maintain operational reports and dashboards (costs, lead times, margins, incidents).
• Collaborate closely with customer service and sales.
• Manage one purchasing/logistics assistant.
