COFCO International is a global agri-business hiring a Senior Accountant to lead end-to-end accounting for large foreign entities under IFRS and to drive accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closes in Leça do Balio, Matosinhos, Porto, PT.

You will collaborate with Tax, FP&A and Business Controlling to provide financial data and insights, support budgets/forecasts, and ensure compliance with group reporting standards.

Qualificações

• Academic Degree in Accounting.
• 3–5 years of work experience in finance.
• English language proficiency (mandatory).
• Microsoft Excel (mandatory).
• Knowledge of accounting standards and principles.
• Pro-active, integrity and trust.
• Ability to multitask and set priorities.
• Ability to influence others at all levels.
• Willing to work across different time zones.
• Knowledge of SAP applications (preferred).
• Knowledge of SAP BPC (preferred).
• Knowledge of SUN accounting (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end accounting for large foreign legal entities according IFRS.
• Close monthly, quarterly and annual processes.
• Provide information to Business Controlling for management and FP&A reporting.
• Review SAP BPC before submission to Group Consolidation.
• Coordinate the annual budget and periodic forecast processes.
• Prepare figures for group financial statements and audits.
• Support external auditors and regulatory surveys.
