Jobgether SRL in Portugal seeks a Senior Accountant to lead technical accounting work across IFRS topics, including revenue and leases, with hands-on involvement in month-end close, consolidation, and external audits.

The role requires strong judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work across multinational teams, including Finance, Legal, Tax, and FP&A, ensuring consistent accounting applications and policy development.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and ability to research, interpret, and apply standards.
• Experience assessing contracts for accounting implications (revenue, leases).
• Strong technical writing skills (memos, position papers, audit support).
• Hands-on experience with month-end close, trial balance reviews, account analysis, consolidations.

Responsabilidades

• Review contracts and business arrangements for accounting implications (IFRS 15, IFRS 16).
• Research IFRS guidance and prepare memos and position papers.
• Support month-end close through balance sheet reviews and analysis.
• Prepare and review consolidation entries and intercompany eliminations.
• Coordinate with external auditors during year-end processes.
• Develop accounting policies and training materials.
• Work cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Tax, and FP&A.
