Siemens Energy seeks a seasoned HVDC Commissioning Engineer to drive testing, commissioning, and validation of HVDC systems. You will execute performance tests, plan factory and on-site testing, and support quality and risk management while collaborating with global teams.

The role requires fluency in English and German, a relevant electrical engineering background, and willingness to travel internationally, including offshore platforms, within a dynamic, multinational environment.

Qualificações

• Degree in electrical engineering, energy technology, or equivalent qualification.
• Technician certification accepted.
• Proficient in grid protection systems, protection relays & BCUs, and testing via MATLAB/SIMULINK, Siemens SIMATIC TDC/S7, CFC.
• Experience or knowledge in Electrical Engineering and commissioning of power stations or HVDC systems.
• Understanding of current and voltage measuring devices and other primary equipment.
• Fluent in English and German.
• Willingness for global travel and long-term assignments, including offshore platforms; strong team player with excellent communication and decision-making skills.

Responsabilidades

• Execute and document Functional Performance Tests (FPT) and Dynamic Performance Tests (DPT) of C&P hardware and software, including Customer Acceptance Tests at the Test Center in Germany.
• Plan, execute, and evaluate workshop tests for C&P hardware at sub-suppliers' factories, ensuring acceptance.
• Prepare and execute testing procedures for the System Open Loop Control.
• Ensure technically flawless commissioning of HVDC systems on-site, including testing of HV primary components and secondary systems.
• Support Commissioning Management in Quality, Risk, and Claim Management, and participate in Lean, Reviews, and Lessons Learned.
