Job summary

Muehlhan Wind Service is seeking a Cable Puller to join our Grid & Substations team and support cable installation activities across Europe. The role focuses on installing, routing, securing, and pulling power, control, and communications cables in line with project specifications and safety standards.

This position is based in Germany with a 3 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation, offering international exposure, professional development, and the chance to work on major renewable energy

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Cable Puller or similar role in industrial, construction, energy, or infrastructure environments.
• Experience with routing, pulling, securing, and installation of cables.
• Familiarity with cable trays, conduits, trenches, and cable management systems.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and cable installation equipment.
• Understanding of site health and safety requirements and safe working practices.
• Experience in substations, power infrastructure, wind energy, or HV projects is advantageous.
• Physically fit for manual work in construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform cable pulling, routing, dressing, and securing activities per project specs and installation standards.
• Install power, control, fiber optic, and communication cables within substations and related infrastructure.
• Assist with cable laying in trenches, ducts, trays, and conduits.
• Support termination preparation and assist technicians during connections.
• Ensure cables are identified, labelled, and documented per project requirements.
• Conduct visual inspections for quality and compliance.
