Forvia seeks a Global Commodity Manager – Energy based in Portugal to define the sourcing strategy for electricity, gas, utilities and energy services. You will coordinate with Legal, Finance and technical stakeholders to secure cost-effective, sustainable solutions and ensure supply continuity across multiple regions.

The role requires 8+ years in energy procurement within an international setting, strong analytical skills, and fluent English.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 8+ years in procurement, energy purchasing or utilities in an international environment.
• Strong analytical capabilities including cost modelling and TCO.

Responsabilidades

• Define and deploy the global Energy commodity strategy, sourcing roadmap and purchasing policies across electricity, gas, utilities and energy services.
• Consolidate global and regional demand, identify aggregation opportunities and align with site requirements and budgets.
• Lead RFQ and tender processes from market consultation through negotiation, award and implementation.
• Negotiate and manage energy supply agreements in coordination with Legal and Finance.
• Design, qualify and manage the global supplier panel with scorecards.
• Ensure supplier performance in cost, service and delivery; lead recovery plans when required.
• Develop energy-market intelligence to inform sourcing decisions and budgeting.
• Build cost models and perform TCO and scenario analyses for negotiations.
• Drive energy-cost optimization and provide transparent assumptions and forecasts.
• Protect supply continuity with risk mitigation and contingency plans.
• Support renewable-energy sourcing and decarbonization initiatives with Sustainability and Operations.
• Coordinate the global Energy purchasing network and governance.
