Oporto Accounting, based in Porto, seeks a Certified Accountant to support accounting management for an international client portfolio in Portugal. Responsibilities include maintaining records, preparing reports, and assisting with tax compliance.

Requirements include a degree in accounting or related field, 2–3 years of professional accounting experience, fluency in Portuguese and English, and knowledge of accounting tools. The position offers a long-term contract and hybrid work.

Qualificações

• Degree in Accounting, Management, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of professional experience in accounting.
• Good knowledge of accounting and finance tools.
• Good level of Portuguese and English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Maintaining accurate and complete accounting records, including ledgers, journals, invoices, receipts.
• Supporting daily, monthly and annual accounting activities.
• Preparing financial reports and assisting with tax compliance processes.
• Communicating with clients regarding accounting matters, documentation needs and reporting status.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports and financial statements.
• Conducting profit, cost and financial analysis.
