Job summary

Bosch Portugal is seeking an Industrialization Engineer to lead the development and implementation of production equipment and tooling for an international automotive program. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across Project Management, Purchasing, Quality and Operations to drive feasibility, equipment selection and ramp-up.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in industrialization, manufacturing engineering or new program launches.
• Experience with production equipment lifecycle: specs, RFQ, supplier selection, design, FAT/SAT, installation and ramp-up.
• Fluency in Portuguese; French/Spanish valued; strong cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate key industrialization activities across the program launch, ensuring milestones and ramp-up targets are met.
• Prepare technical specifications and equipment requirements aligned with safety, production, maintenance and quality.
• Lead RFQ and supplier selection, technical reviews, and FAT/SAT processes with equipment vendors.
• Ensure availability of resources for installation, commissioning, start-up and production ramp-up.
• Travel frequently to Portugal, Spain and France to support international stakeholders.
