VIAMAPA - GEOSAT Group is seeking a Geographical/Geospatial Engineer to join our team in Portugal. The role focuses on geospatial studies, data acquisition and processing for cartography and topography projects, and contributing to technical reports for engineering and environmental planning.

The candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, support construction monitoring, and develop geospatial solutions using Python and R. A degree in Geographical/Geospatial Engineering is required.

Qualificações

Bachelor level degree in Geographical/Geospatial Engineering.
Experience with geospatial analysis and data processing is preferred.
Familiarity with remote sensing, digital cartography, topography and 3D modeling is desirable.
Programming skills to automate geospatial workflows (Python, R) are valued.

Responsabilidades

Perform geospatial studies and analyses for cartography and topography projects.
Acquire and process geographic data for technical reports and deliverables.
Prepare technical opinions on engineering, infrastructure, environmental and land-use planning projects.
Support construction monitoring and project implementation with multidisciplinary teams.
