What we’re looking for:

  • Degree in Accounting, Management, and/or Finance;
  • More than 3 years of professional experience;
  • Professional experience in accounting in a multinational or Shared Services context will be valued;
  • Experience and leadership skills with a focus on performance, good communication skills, and assertiveness;
  • Practical mindset and ability to solve problems quickly;
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail;
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team;
  • Ability to organize and manage priorities in a dynamic environment;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP);
  • Excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written);
  • Knowledge of other European languages is valued (French or German).

Main responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the operational management of a team;
  • Ensure daily activities, including the operational execution of tasks and management of the respective team;
  • Be responsible for the quality of service and key performance indicators of the respective team;
  • Identify opportunities for standardization and process improvement, collaborate and support their implementation process;
  • Train new employees, document and review processes with the team;
  • Management of accounting entries;
  • Ensure that all accounting records comply with applicable accounting principles and are properly supported by adequate documentation;
  • Actively collaborate in the monthly and annual closing processes;
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate and timely information;
  • Verify account reconciliations and variance analyses;
  • Ensure the correct classification and integration of financial movements in the ERP;
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in accounting and reporting processes.
