Boschgroup in Braga, Portugal, is seeking a GenAI Junior Engineer to join our R&D team and design AI-powered developer tools and intelligent engineering assistants. You will collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and software developers to prototype and deploy generative AI solutions for coding, documentation, and automated reasoning.

Responsibilities include building AI pipelines, integrating language models, knowledge retrieval, and supporting LLM integration into IDEs and portals.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or related field.
• Experience with Python and basic understanding of LLMs.
• Familiarity with APIs, Git, and collaborative development tools.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and goal-oriented mindset.
• Interest in distributed teams and agile development.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with senior engineers to design GenAI-based assistants for software workflows.
• Build and maintain AI pipelines integrating language models, vector databases, and retrieval components.
• Prototype and evaluate AI agents that interact with codebases and documentation.
• Support LLM integration into IDE plugins, chatbots, or developer portals.
• Assist in data preparation and curation for model training and fine-tuning.
• Contribute to testing, benchmarking, and documenting AI features.
• Stay up to date with GenAI frameworks and contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions.
