Bosch Service Solutions S.A. is seeking a GenAI Junior Engineer to join our R&D team and help design the next generation of AI-powered developer tools and intelligent engineering assistants.

You will work with AI engineers, data scientists, and software developers to build, prototype, and deploy GenAI solutions that empower software engineers in daily tasks such as code generation, documentation, and automated reasoning.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree as required in CS/CE or related field.
• Experience with Python and basic understanding of LLMs (OpenAI, Hugging Face).
• Familiarity with APIs, Git, and collaborative development tools.
• Strong teamwork, excellent communication, goal-oriented mindset.
• Motivated, creative, with analytical skills and customer focus.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with senior engineers to design GenAI-based assistants for software workflows.
• Build and maintain AI pipelines integrating language models and vector databases.
• Prototype AI agents that interact with codebases, docs, requirements, tickets, etc.
• Support the integration of LLMs into IDE plugins, chatbots, portals.
• Assist in data prep and curation for model training and fine-tuning.
• Contribute to testing, benchmarking, and documenting AI features.
• Stay up to date with GenAI frameworks and internal knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with UX designers to ensure usability and feasibility of tools.

Job Description

We are looking for a GenAI Junior Engineer to join our Research & Development team and contribute to designing the next generation of AI-powered developer tools and intelligent engineering assistants.

In this role, you will work closely with experienced AI engineers, data scientists, and software developers to create, prototype, and deploy generative AI solutions that empower software engineers in their daily work - from code generation and documentation supportto automated reasoning, debugging, and knowledge retrieval.

The position offers a unique opportunity to combine modern AI technologies (LLMs, embeddings, agents) with classical software engineering practices, contributing to tools that enhance productivity and knowledge transfer in engineering organizations.

Key Responsabilities:

• Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement GenAI-based assistants for software development workflows (e.g., coding, documentation, design reviews).
• Build and maintain AI pipelines integrating language models, vector databases, and knowledge retrieval components.
• Prototype and evaluate AI agents that interact with real engineering artifacts (codebases, documentation, requirements, tickets, etc.).
• Support the integration of LLMs into existing development environments, such as IDE plugins, chatbots, or internal developer portals.
• Assist in data preparation and curation for model training and fine-tuning.
• Contribute to testing, benchmarking, and documenting AI features.
• Stay up to date with emerging GenAI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, Model Context Protocol) and participate in internal knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Collaborate with UX designers and domain experts to ensure usability and technical feasibility of AI-assisted developer tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
