Closer Consulting in Lisbon/Porto is seeking an AI Agents / GenAI Engineer to design and implement Python-based agents for European banking custody back-office operations in a hybrid work setting.

You will work with LangGraph/LangChain, manage prompts, tool calls, and observability, translating complex financial rules into agent behaviors while collaborating across teams.

Qualificações

• 3–6 years of Python engineering experience, with 1–2 years focused on LLM/GenAI applications.
• Hands-on experience with agent frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar) and ReAct cycles.
• Deep expertise in prompt engineering, RAG patterns, and LLM evaluation techniques.
• Experience with REST/gRPC APIs (Go backend integration), JSON Schema, and asynchronous Python.
• Practical understanding of Docker and Kubernetes (log management and ConfigMaps).
• Strong testing culture (pytest, LLM mocking).
• Fluent English with strong communication, teamwork, autonomy, and high attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain Python-based agents (LangGraph, LangChain, internal SDK) for European banking custody back-office operations.
• Design multilevel flows, tool calling, state management, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop patterns.
• Manage prompts and system configurations via Kubernetes ConfigMaps.
• Build evaluation pipelines using golden datasets, quality metrics, shadow testing, and regression testing.
• Adapt general-purpose central team agents to local business requirements.
• Ensure observability across agent metrics, latency, token consumption, and structured logs.
• Translate complex financial rules (settlements, corporate actions) directly into agent behaviors.
