Job summary

Welvaart is seeking a Data Engineer to design, develop and optimize data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will build and refine data pipelines, enable data ingestion and orchestration, and collaborate with stakeholders to convert requirements into scalable data solutions.

You will work with SQL and Python to support BI and analytics initiatives, ensure data quality, and contribute to cloud-native architectures.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform technologies.
Strong experience in Data Engineering environments.
Experience delivering Data Engineering and/or Business Intelligence projects.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
Strong SQL knowledge.
Experience working with cloud-native data architectures.
Experience working directly with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Build and optimize data pipelines and data integration processes.
Implement and maintain data ingestion, transformation and orchestration workflows.
Work with large datasets and support analytics and reporting initiatives.
Produce technical documentation and project deliverables.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand requirements.
