Capgemini Engineering is seeking an experienced Software Tester to join our Portugal team. You will analyze requirements, prepare and execute diverse tests, document results, and log defects. The role involves collaborating with analysts, developers, and the Product Owner in an Agile/Scrum setup.

You will also support release validation, identify automation candidates, and help maintain quality metrics across projects. A strong background in SDLC and Portuguese language proficiency is required.

Qualificações

• Degree or technical qualification in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of software testing experience.
• Formal training in software testing.
• Experience preparing and executing test cases.
• Experience with functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
• Experience in defect logging and defect management.
• Knowledge of SDLC.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Knowledge of test management and defect-tracking tools.
• Proficiency in Portuguese (CEFR C1) or native level.

Your role:

• - Contribute to identifying tests that are suitable candidates for automation.
• - Support the analysis and validation of incidents identified in production.
• - Contribute to test execution reports and quality metrics.

Your Profile:

• - Degree or technical qualification in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• - Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software testing.
• - Formal training in software testing.
• - Experience in preparing and executing test cases.
• - Experience with functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
• - Experience in defect logging and defect management.
• - Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• - Knowledge of test management and defect-tracking tools.
• - Proficiency in Portuguese, both written and spoken, at CEFR level C1 or native speaker level.
• - Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and good communication abilities.

Nice to Have:

• - ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent.
• - Experience with API testing.
• - Knowledge of SQL.
• - Exposure to test automation tools.
• - Experience with Front Office and Back Office web applications.
• - Experience in public sector or healthcare projects.
• - Knowledge of accessibility, usability, or performance testing.
