A technology company in Lisbon is seeking a Mid-level Functional Tester (Manual Tester) to ensure the quality and reliability of enterprise applications. Responsibilities include analyzing requirements, designing and executing test cases, and performing various testing types. Ideal candidates will possess over 4 years of experience and strong knowledge of testing methodologies. The position allows for a hybrid work model with 1–2 days onsite each week.

Qualificações

• Experience with test management tools.

Overview

We are looking for a Mid-level Functional Tester (Manual Tester) to ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of enterprise applications through comprehensive manual testing practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements to define test scenarios and test cases
• Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases for web and/or mobile applications
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Identify, document, and track defects using test management and defect tracking tools
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and business stakeholders
• Validate fixes and ensure issues are resolved according to acceptance criteria
• Contribute to test strategy, test planning, and continuous improvement of QA processes

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Functional / Manual Tester
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and QA best practices
• Experience working with test management tools (e.g., Jira, Xray, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar)
• Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into effective test cases
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese
• ISTQB certification is a plus

Work Model

• Hybrid: 1–2 days per week onsite in Lisbon
