iTRTech Group is seeking a skilled Software Developer - Testing Tools for a hybrid Lisbon role. You will perform manual functional and non-functional testing of OutSystems applications, collaborate with analysts, developers, and clients, and help ensure quality throughout the software life cycle.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in manual testing, 2+ years on OutSystems, and strong experience with Jira/Xray in enterprise projects. English required; Portuguese beneficial.

Only candidates already based in Portugal will be considered

Work Model: Hybrid — 1 day per week in the office

Language Requirements: English B2 — mandatory | Portuguese B2 — preferred

About The Opportunity

Join a financial services project focused on the quality and reliability of applications built on the OutSystems platform. You will perform manual functional and non-functional testing, working closely with business analysts, developers, technical leads, and client stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business and functional requirements to define test scenarios.
• Create and maintain test cases, test plans, and supporting documentation.
• Execute manual functional, regression, and integration tests, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Identify, document, track, and retest defects.
• Use Jira and Xray to organize testing activities, track execution, and report results.

Mandatory Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Manual Testing.
• 2+ years of experience testing OutSystems applications.

• Good understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• English at B2 level or above.
• Availability to work onsite in Lisbon one day per week and undertake occasional travel to client offices.

Nice to Have

• ISTQB Foundation certification.
• Experience with API testing and UAT support.
• Knowledge of SQL databases.
• Basic understanding of test automation concepts.
• Portuguese at B2 level or above.

You have hands-on experience validating OutSystems applications, confidently manage testing activities with Jira and Xray, and communicate clearly with technical teams and business stakeholders. You take ownership of defects and help ensure applications are ready for release.
