Siemens Energy is seeking an engineer to drive functional safety across I&C modernization and new build projects. You will ensure compliance with IEC61511 rules, contribute to safety life-cycle management, and collaborate with project teams to deliver safe, high‑quality solutions.

The role requires a technical engineering degree and IEC61511 certification, with strong communication skills and experience in industrial process safety. English fluency is essential; German is a plus.

Qualificações

Technical degree in electrical, automation, power, mechanical or process engineering.
Certification according to IEC61511.
Advanced knowledge of IEC61511 framework and practical application.
Experience as functional safety manager on multiple projects is desirable.
Experience in power plant process technology and safety involvement.
Fluent business English; German is a plus.

Responsabilidades

Support project teams in all aspects of functional safety and drive improvement.
Ensure IEC61511 compliance in I&C modernization and new builds.
Develop and maintain internal functional safety management processes and docs.
Qualify project team members and subcontractors in functional safety.
Perform verifications across safety lifecycle phases and support audits.
