Fyld, a Portuguese IT services consultancy, seeks a Node Developer to build and deploy scalable Node.js applications. You will design RESTful APIs, work with databases like MongoDB and PostgreSQL, and collaborate closely with front-end teams using React and modern web tech.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in Node.js, experience with Express.js, and a strong grasp of asynchronous patterns in a team-driven, Agile environment. English fluency is required for this Lisbon-based role.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years as a Node.js developer.
• Proven experience deploying Node.js applications.
• Experience with Express.js.
• Front-end tech: HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React.
• Databases: MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
• Design, develop and implement RESTful APIs with Node.js.
• Experience with API integration and consumption.
• Strong asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Proficient in Git.
• Testing with Mocha, Chai or Jest.
• Familiarity with DevOps and deployment practices.
• Docker experience is a plus.
• Understanding of security best practices.
• Experience in Agile environments.
• Fluent in English.

We Are Looking For Our Next Node Developer

• Proven track record of developing and deploying Node.js applications;
• Proficiency in Node.js and its frameworks such as Express.js;
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React;
• Knowledge of database systems such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL;
• Ability to design, develop, and implement RESTful APIs using Node.js;
• Experience with API integration and consumption;
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture in Node.js;
• Proficiency in version control tools such as Git;
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, or Jest;
• Familiarity with deployment platforms and DevOps practices;
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker is a plus;
• Understanding of security best practices for web development and Node.js applications;
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment;
• Experience working in Agile development environments is preferred;
• Fluent in English
