Entrust Corporation in Lisbon, Portugal, is seeking a mid-level Fullstack Software Engineer to join the Signals Team, contributing to secure, scalable applications across the stack. You will work with frontend and backend technologies and own features end-to-end.

You’ll collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver privacy‑compliant, high‑quality software, while mentoring peers and guiding technical decisions in a hybrid/remote-friendly environment.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional experience in fullstack or software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in React/TypeScript and at least one backend language (Python, Kotlin, or Ruby).
• Experience designing and building distributed systems and scalable architectures.
• Experience building and operating APIs and microservices in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of system design, performance, and reliability trade-offs.
• Deep knowledge of software security principles and privacy-by-design approaches.
• Experience working in agile environments with CI/CD practices.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical decisions.
• Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to team growth.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design, build, and evolution of fullstack applications using React (TypeScript), Kotlin, Python, and Ruby.
• Architect and develop scalable APIs and microservices deployed on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Take ownership of complex features from design through to production and ongoing operation.
• Drive architectural discussions and contribute to long-term technical strategy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, privacy-compliant features aligned with regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
• Improve system reliability, scalability, observability, and performance.
• Partner with product and UX teams to deliver high-quality, user‑centric experiences.
• Champion secure coding practices and contribute to identity and cryptographic systems.
• Identify and implement improvements to engineering practices, tools, and workflows.
