A BOI (Board of Innovation) procura um Lead Full‑Stack Engineer para integrar a equipa de desenvolvimento de ferramentas IA. Vai trabalhar em aplicações com Azure, Docker/Kubernetes e pipelines de dados, com foco em escalabilidade e segurança.

O candidato ideal tem ≥5 anos de experiência, experiência em Node.js/Python/FastAPI, React e PostgreSQL, e comunicação fluente em inglês em contexto internacional. Regime full‑time, Lisboa ou área.

Qualificações

• 5+ anos de experiência em desenvolvimento web seguro e escalável.
• Experiência em backend (Node.js, FastAPI, Python) e frontend (React, JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Experiência com bancos de dados relacionais (PostgreSQL).
• Inglês avançado, falado e escrito, em contexto internacional.
• Experiência em ambiente de consultoria/agency em projetos por contagem de tempo.
• Conhecimentos de DevOps, pipelines CI/CD (Docker, Kubernetes, Github Actions).
• Conhecimentos de deployment em um dos maiores provedores de cloud (preferencial Azure).
• Capacidade de liderar projetos desde a conceção até à produção.

Responsabilidades

• Trabalhar com uma equipa internacional de engenheiros, designers e solution leads para entender as necessidades do cliente.
• Desenvolver e manter interfaces front-end responsivas e dinâmicas.
• Trabalhar com designers UI/UX para garantir usabilidade e desempenho.
• Colaborar com equipas de dados e IA para integrar pipelines de dados e lógica de IA em aplicações.

About The Role

We are looking for a Lead Full‑Stack Engineer to be part of our team developing cutting‑edge AI‑powered tools and applications, including agentic tools and predictive AI. This role will focus on building scalable, secure, and user‑centric products by integrating front‑end interfaces with robust back‑end systems powered by AI models. This is a hands‑on role where you will be responsible for building and implementing systems from the ground up. You would write production‑level code while defining processes and best practices for future team growth.

Responsibilities

Work together with a collaborative international team of engineers, designers and solution leads to understand customer business needs and translate them into end‑to‑end solutions Design, develop, and maintain responsive and dynamic front‑end user interfaces Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure applications meet high standards of usability and performance Collaborate with the data and AI engineering teams to integrate data pipelines and AI logic into customer‑facing applications

Qualifications

You have 5+ years of experience building secure and scalable web applications, and a degree in Computer Science or related field Experience in both backend (e.G. Node Js, Fast API, Python) and frontend (e.G. React, Java Script/Type Script) Experience working with relational databases (e.G. Postgre SQL) Proven ability to deliver production‑ready software for enterprise use Advanced English skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively in an international team You are Experience working in a consulting or agency environment on project‑based work Familiar with Dev Ops practices, including CI/CD pipeline tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Github Actions, or Skaffold Familiar with deployment on one of the major cloud providers (preferably Azure) Able to take charge of a project from conception till production‑level customer deployment Passionate about continuously improving code quality by performing code reviews, and following best practices for testing and debugging Willing to collaborate with the team to expand knowledge of new technologies and improve software development best practices

Job Evolution

Within your first month, you will integrate with the team, help set up best development practices and initial software primitives Within your third month, you will be actively involved in a client project, scoping the project and implementing user stories Within your sixth month, you will be involved in multiple client projects, having already brought one from inception to a scalable client deployment.

Location This position is open only to candidates based in Portugal, preferably in the Lisbon area.
