Komodo Consulting in Portugal is seeking a seasoned Full-Stack Developer (React + Node) to work on a core tech project.

You will architect backend services with serverless patterns, build RESTful APIs and microservices, and develop React frontends with strong state management. Collaborate with Product, Design and QA, and ensure code quality through testing and reviews. You will deploy via Kubernetes and modern CI/CD pipelines.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience in full-stack development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with React and state management.
• Experience with Next.js for SSR and full-stack development.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience.
• Familiarity with GitHub or GitLab.
• Knowledge of Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Cloud platforms such as AWS and/or GCP.

The Project

We are seeking a FullStack Developer (React + Node) to work on a Tech project.

You will have the following responsibilities:

• Architect and maintain scalable backend services using serverless technologies (e.g., AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions), ensuring performance and reliability;
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Node.js and TypeScript, supporting maintainability and team collaboration;
• Design and evolve RESTful APIs and microservices, following best practices for modularity and scalability;
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, QA) to define, design, and deliver impactful features aligned with business goals;
• Ensure code quality through rigorous testing, peer reviews, and continuous improvement of development standards;
• Monitor and optimize application performance, proactively identifying bottlenecks and driving improvements in scalability and reliability;
• Develop and maintain React-based frontend applications, including state management and frontend performance optimization;
• Manage and operate containerized workloads using Kubernetes;
• Foster a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and innovation within the team.

You need to have the following skills/experience:

• 3+ years of experience in full-stack development;
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js;
• Strong experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices;
• Hands-on experience with React, including state management (Redux or Zustand) and frontend performance optimization;
• Experience with Next.js for server-side rendering and full-stack development;
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration;
• Familiarity with version control platforms such as GitHub or GitLab;
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform);
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) for deployment automation;
• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and Redis;
• Cloud platform experience (GCP and/or AWS).

Location

Lisbon, Braga, or Coimbra (Hybrid - 2 days per week at the office).
