act digital is seeking a software developer in Porto to build and maintain frontend applications with Angular and TypeScript while also delivering robust backend services using Python and FastAPI. You will integrate frontend with APIs, work with SQL databases, and uphold security and testing standards.

The role requires up to 3 years of development experience, strong English and collaborative problem-solving skills in an Agile/Scrum setting.

Qualificações

• Until 3 years of professional experience in software development.
• Solid professional experience with Angular and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs with Python and FastAPI.
• Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS and responsive web development.
• Professional experience working with SQL and relational databases.
• Good knowledge of Git and version control.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum or Kanban environments.
• Good understanding of unit and integration testing.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and development pipelines.
• Good understanding of web application security and secure coding practices.
• Good Level of English.
• Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain frontend applications, components and features using Angular and TypeScript.
• Develop and maintain secure, stable and efficient RESTful APIs and backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Implement end-to-end user stories, translating functional requirements into high-quality frontend and backend solutions.
• Integrate Angular applications with backend APIs and ensure reliable data flow between frontend and backend.
• Work with SQL and relational databases as required by the application.
• Write clean, readable, maintainable and reusable code according to established development standards.
• Implement and maintain unit and integration tests, using tools such as Jest/Jasmine for frontend and Pytest for backend.
• Apply established security and secure coding practices, including OWASP principles and secure data handling.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimize application performance and resolve technical issues.
• Use existing Git, CI/CD and deployment processes to deliver features to production.
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate technical feedback to continuously improve code quality.
• Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement and Retrospectives.
• Collaborate closely with the Tech Lead and development team on technical decisions, knowledge sharing and delivery of new features.
