Capgemini Portugal is hiring a Full stack Java Developer for Lisbon or Porto. You will refactor and modernize UI, build new responsive components, and ensure code quality while collaborating in a global Capgemini team.

You’ll work on frontend and backend tasks, write tests, participate in reviews, and grow with local career programs and a hybrid work policy.

Qualificações

• 2+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience.
• Strong frontend skills with JavaScript and Angular.
• Solid backend experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Good understanding of SQL (ideally T‑SQL).
• Comfortable working with Linux, Bash scripting, and Git workflows.
• Fluent English.

Responsabilidades

• Refactor and modernize existing Angular/HTML UI code.
• Develop new, responsive UI components and pages.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests for the front-end.
• Participate in code reviews, releases, and team meetings.
• Ensure code quality and address vulnerabilities; suggest improvements.
• Debug and investigate issues in the codebase.
• Become familiar with business processes and workflows.

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a Full stack Java Developer to join our team in Lisbon or Porto.

• Refactor and modernize existing Angular/HTML UI code
• Develop new, responsive UI components and pages
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests for the front‑end
• Actively participate in codereview, releases, and team meetings
• Be responsible for code quality and clearence, look for vulnerabilities and suggest improvements
• Be ready to debug the code to investigate the issues
• Become familiar with business processes and understand the flow

YOUR PROFILE

• 2+ years of hands‑on full‑stack development experience
• Strong skills in JavaScript + Angular on the frontend
• Solid backend experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Good understanding of SQL, ideally T‑SQL
• Comfortable working with Linux, shell scripting (Bash), and Git workflows
• English fluent
