ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer (Ruby on Rails + React) to join our fast-paced, collaborative team. You’ll work closely with product owners, designers, QA, and developers to build solutions that drive business impact, participating in all stages of product development from concept to release and iteration. With an entrepreneurial mindset, you’ll run experiments, leverage metrics to guide decisions, and help evolve our applications and internal tools to create better experiences for both customers and teammates.

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable solutions using Ruby on Rails, React, and GraphQL;
• Lead the product development process in collaboration with Product, Design, Analytics, and other stakeholders;
• Build polished, high-touch user interfaces;
• Design and implement scalable solutions;
• Enhance 3D modeling integrations, data processing pipelines, and interactive property models;
• Improve existing code through refactoring and optimization;
• Collaborate with engineers to architect reliable systems;
• Ensure high-quality code delivery through unit and end-to-end testing;
• Continuously improve development processes and system performance;
• Make a measurable impact on user experience for construction and skilled trades customers;
• The project duration is 6 months

Must Haves

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development, with strong expertise in backend technologies like Ruby on Rails, and frontend frameworks such as React;
• Experience with building RESTful architectures and/or GraphQL APIs, designing efficient, scalable, and secure interfaces for both internal and external use;
• Proficiency in cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS or Google Cloud) and experience with building scalable applications that support complex workflows;
• Working hours: Most of the team works Pacific Time. Ideally, there should be some overlap between 8 AM – 4 PM PT, but this is not a strict requirement;
• Upper-Intermediate English level.

• Experience with Java, C# development;
• Product growth and lifecycle management: Experience building and growing products from initial launch through maturity, with a focus on improving, scaling, and evolving the product to better serve users and meet business objectives;
• Technical leadership experience: Ability to take features from concept through planning, development, testing, and final delivery, ensuring alignment with product goals and user needs;
• Team leadership experience, including guiding engineers to deliver innovative solutions to complex problems;
• Engineering-driven mindset: Experience working in an engineering-driven organization where engineers share ownership of wins and losses alongside product teams;
• Cross-functional collaboration: Experience working with stakeholders from Product, Design, Analytics, and Legal to build products that meet business and regulatory requirements;
• Ownership mentality: Commitment to taking full responsibility for features from design to deployment, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining production quality.
