Accenture PLC, based in Lisbon, is hiring a Full Stack Engineer to support enterprise Workforce applications and Digital Channels initiatives. You will contribute across frontend, backend, API and cloud technologies in a hybrid working model.

We are hiring across seniorities from Junior to Senior, with opportunities to work on secure, scalable digital solutions and participate in AI-assisted development practices within a regulated financial environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building enterprise web applications across frontend and backend layers.
• Experience in Agile delivery models and production support activities.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and manage stakeholders.
• Experience in Banking/Financial Services or regulated environments is a plus.
• Excellent English communication skills (C1 level or higher).

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise web apps using React.js, Node.js and modern front-end tech.
• Build and integrate REST APIs and API orchestration flows.
• Contribute across full software delivery lifecycle from design to deployment and support.
• Develop secure cloud-native solutions on Azure with CI/CD and AKS.
• Create tests, perform code reviews and troubleshoot production incidents.
• Support Agile delivery and mentoring for junior developers.

This is a Full Stack Engineer role supporting enterprise Workforce applications and Digital Channels initiatives. You will contribute across application development, migration, maintenance and production support, working with modern frontend, backend, API and cloud technologies. We are hiring across seniority levels, from Junior to Senior.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise web applications using React.js, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML and CSS, together with Node.js and frameworks such as Koa.js or Express.js;
• Build and integrate REST APIs, BFF services and API orchestration flows using API-first and OpenAPI concepts;
• Contribute across the complete software delivery lifecycle, from requirement gathering and solution design to development, testing, migration, deployment and production support;
• Develop secure cloud-native solutions using Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, AKS and Redis, applying OpenID Connect, SOLID principles and code-quality best practices;
• Create unit and integration tests, perform code reviews and debugging, and investigate production incidents through structured troubleshooting and root cause analysis;
• Support Agile delivery, release and change management activities using the relevant development and collaboration tools, with senior profiles also contributing to technical decisions, stakeholder management and junior developer mentoring.

What You'll Need

Qualifications

• Experience developing enterprise web applications, according to the relevant seniority level, with exposure to application modernization and AI-assisted development practices being highly valued for senior profiles.
• Experience working in an Agile delivery model;
• Experience across frontend and backend software development;
• Experience supporting production applications, incidents and releases is valued;
• Experience in Banking, Financial Services or other regulated environments is considered an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Frontend: React.js, JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML and CSS;
• Backend: Node.js and Koa.js, Express.js or equivalent frameworks;
• SOLID principles and software engineering best practices;
• REST APIs, API integration, OpenAPI and API orchestration concepts;
• Backend for Frontend architecture and integration between frontend, BFF and backend services;
• Authentication and authorisation concepts, including OpenID Connect;
• Secure coding practices;
• Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines;
• Azure Kubernetes Service;
• Azure Cloud and cloud-native application concepts;
• Redis;
• Unit testing, integration testing and debugging;
• Git, Visual Studio Code, Bruno and browser development tools;
• Node.js package management and npm;
• Mendix knowledge is considered an advantage but is not mandatory.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted software engineering practices, including code generation, code review, test automation, documentation generation and migration acceleration using AI tools;
• Understanding of AI-driven software modernization and development acceleration approaches is considered a strong advantage.

Profile & Other Requirements

• Professional English at C1 level, spoken and written, is mandatory;
• French and/or Dutch are considered an advantage;
• Strong teamwork and communication skills;

• Generalising-specialist mindset, with the ability to work across different Workforce applications and technologies;
• Willingness to support production activities and planned deployments when required;

Must own a valid work permit or EU/Schengen Space nationality to legally work in Portugal.
