Job summary

Shakers is hiring a Fullstack Developer to join the engineering team. You will build and evolve backend services in Java with Spring, and develop frontend apps in Angular with TypeScript. You will design relational data models, optimise queries, and participate in CI/CD deployments.

The role requires a degree in CS or related field, 4–7 years' experience, and strong English. Hybrid work with 2–3 days onsite in Porto or Lisbon, Portugal.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4 to 7 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven expertise in Java/Spring, RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong hands-on experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Solid knowledge of SQL optimisation and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
• Good understanding of SOLID principles and clean architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment.
• Familiarity with REST and SOAP integration patterns.
• Proficient English, written and spoken.

• Develop frontend applications in recent versions of Angular with TypeScript.
• Model and optimise relational data, including query tuning and stored procedures.
• Work within CI/CD pipelines with automated deployment practices.
• Integrate with internal and third-party services over REST and SOAP.

What you need
