Job summary

Shakers is hiring a Fullstack Developer to join the engineering team of a leading European technology group.

You will build backend services in Java with Spring and RESTful APIs, while delivering frontend work in Angular with TypeScript. You will optimize SQL and work within CI/CD pipelines, integrating with internal and external services via REST and SOAP. This role is full-time, hybrid with 2–3 days on-site in Lisbon or Porto.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven expertise in Java/Spring, RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong frontend capabilities with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3.

What you will do

• Build and evolve backend services in Java with Spring, exposing RESTful APIs in a microservices architecture.
• Develop frontend applications in recent versions of Angular with TypeScript.
• Model and optimise relational data, including query tuning and stored procedures.
• Work within CI/CD pipelines with automated deployment practices.
• Integrate with internal and third-party services over REST and SOAP.

What you need

• Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4 to 7 years of experience.
• Proven expertise in Java/Spring, RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong hands-on experience with Angular (latest versions preferred), TypeScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Solid knowledge of SQL optimisation, stored procedures and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
• Strong understanding of SOLID principles and clean architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control and automated deployment.
• Familiarity with REST and SOAP web services and integration patterns.
• Proficiency in English, written and spoken.

Nice to have

• French.

Full time, long term. Hybrid, 2 to 3 days per week on site, Lisbon or Porto.
