Connect Digital in Lisbon is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer – Java & React to join a technology project. This hybrid role requires three days on-site in Lisbon and candidates based in Portugal, with 4+ years of experience building scalable applications across backend and frontend.

You will contribute to design and delivery of Java microservices and modern web apps, while supporting architecture, IAM, API development, and knowledge sharing within the squad.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of professional experience in Java and React development or equivalent full-stack roles.
• Strong experience developing scalable Java-based backend services and microservices.
• Experience developing modern web applications using React.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience working with GraphQL APIs.
• Knowledge of identity and access management technologies such as Keycloak and Okta.
• Understanding of OIDC, RBAC, and token-based authentication and authorisation.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging technologies.
• Familiarity with AWS SQS and Solace.
• Experience applying code quality and application security practices.
• Familiarity with SonarQube and Snyk.
• Experience participating in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and deployments.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary squads.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement scalable Java microservices supporting Checkout, MyAccount, and ODR Processing features.
• Contribute across the full feature lifecycle, from architecture discussions and implementation through testing, code review, and deployment.
• Build and maintain modern frontend applications using React.
• Integrate and configure Keycloak and Okta identity and access management flows.
• Work with OIDC, RBAC, and token customisation within authentication and authorisation solutions.
• Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Produce and maintain OpenAPI documentation for APIs.
• Implement event-driven integration patterns using AWS SQS and Solace messaging.
• Apply code quality and security standards using tools such as SonarQube and Snyk.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge transfer within the squad.Participate in architectural decisions and contribute to the client’s engineering standards.
• Collaborate closely with squad members and client stakeholders throughout delivery.

Salary & Benefits

• Gross annual salary: €25,000–€30,000*, depending on experience and suitability for the role.
