What will you be doing at Miniclip?

• Design, build and own full-stack systems, from Go back-end services to Vue front-end applications.
• Work collaboratively across engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
• Plan and prioritise work within a Kanban-style environment, adapting as priorities change.
• Establish and promote strong software development practices across the team.
• Test, document and maintain software, helping to set high standards for quality.
• Troubleshoot production issues across the stack and take ownership of complex problems through to resolution.
• Drive improvements in observability, monitoring and system reliability.
• Contribute to technical decisions and act as a technical reference within the team.
• Support the technical growth of the team through knowledge sharing and mentoring.
• Continuously learn, challenge existing approaches and help improve the way we build and operate software.

What are we looking for?

• Strong full-stack development experience, with a track record of building and supporting production software.
• Strong experience with Golang (or a similar strongly typed language) and Vue.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, Git and modern software development practices.
• A strong focus on reliability, observability and production quality, with a proactive approach to solving problems.
• Comfortable working across the software lifecycle, from design and implementation through to deployment and operations.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams in a dynamic environment.

It would be a plus if you have

• Experience with AWS or other large-scale cloud platforms.
• Experience with production system migrations.
• Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
• Experience with CI/CD systems.
• Experience with privacy and compliance systems.
• Strong UI/UX awareness and experience contributing to front-end design decisions.
