Mercer in Lisbon is seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Data & Analytics Team on a hybrid basis, working at least three days a week in the office. You will contribute to end-to-end development across MEAN/MERN and Python FastAPI stacks, turning data into actionable insights.

You’ll build microservices and APIs, implement containerized deployments, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, user-centric applications for Oliver Wyman’s new Lisbon hub.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience with Python/FastAPI and a MEAN/MERN stack (Node.js, Express.js, Angular or React) and MongoDB.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, API integrations, JSON data, and responsive, scalable development.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, and ability to work independently and with teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to design and development of full-stack applications using MEAN/MERN and Python FastAPI.
• Develop and maintain applications enabling data exploration, visualization, and reporting.
• Design and develop microservices and APIs with an API-first approach and JSON data handling.
• Develop and deploy scalable applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or similar, with Git and CI/CD practices.
• Optimize performance for speed, scalability, and user experience.
