Securecell AG is looking for a talented Frontend Software Engineer in Lisbon, Portugal. In this role, you will develop and maintain frontend applications using modern web technologies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the entire software development lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of frontend development experience and good knowledge of HTML5, CSS, TypeScript, and Vue.js. This opportunity offers a hybrid work model and a dynamic international environment.

FRONTEND SOFTWARE ENGINEER

We are looking for a talented Frontend Software Engineer for our Biotech business.

Our software engineers develop next‑generation technologies that change how biopharma digitizes and automates bioprocess development to fulfill its purpose and bring highly demanded new medications to patients. Lucullus® and our Web‑Applications are constantly being developed and improved as they need to handle different kinds of information from innumerable sources within highly complex and constantly evolving environments. YOUR PROFILE

• Develop and maintain frontend applications using modern web technologies and frameworks.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, backend developers, and QA engineers to deliver high‑quality software solutions.
• Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Follow coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines in frontend development activities.
• Contribute to code reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives within the development team.
• Stay updated with frontend technologies, tools, and development practices to continuously improve technical skills and project outcomes.

• 5+ years of experience in Frontend development.
• Good knowledge of frontend technologies (HTML5, CSS, TypeScript, Vue.js).
• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams in software development projects.
• Knowledge of backend technologies (SPRING) is a plus.
• Experience with automation/communication protocols as well as (bio)process engineering is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with the Atlassian tool suite is highly welcome.
• You are goal‑oriented, work well independently, use your strong problem‑solving skills in collaboration with the team, and communicate well in an international and intercultural setting.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced Agile environment, adapting quickly to changing requirements, priorities, and technologies while maintaining high‑quality deliverables.
• Fluent English is required.
• Valid work permit for Portugal. Please indicate your current work authorization status.
